NOT FUCKING HAPPY!

hello all,

I have been queerily absent of late because of work and when i come home, i truly can't be too bothered to turn on the computer.

Anyway, i recently received the results of my exams and the University Admissions Index (out of 100) i got 94.2 for. Now that I didn't COMPLETELY fail, my parents want me to go to university doing something that I COMPLETELY do not want to do.

FUCK having a happy christmas.!!

-just needed to blow out some steam.

What I really want to do? Howsabout a degree in english lit, philosophy or film? But of course, these don't exactly guarantee a job so I must be sensible and waste at least 7 FUCKING YEARS to do a medical degree which I don't have the slightest bit of interest in. Sorry for my ungracious selfishness but I don't want to spend all day with diseased people.

I like your other choices better since it appears you aren't interested in doctoring.

Some people are made for doctoring and some people aren't. I don't have the patience or dedication to be a doctor and if I were to be one (or studying to be one) it would seem like a job to fill in time rather than having a job for itself. The monotomy and boredom of looking at people's throats for a living! I have a lot of respect for doctors but I just ain't cut out to be one and the sooner my parents realise this crucial fact, the less likely my midlife crisis will occur in the upcomming decade.

nope my parents are definately NOT doctors! My mother is an ex fashion designer (!) and my father is an artist (with a doctorATE degree in Creative Arts) so that's why I was so fecking surprised with my parents' insistance.
